Mike and Marlene’s story started almost two years ago. And it wasn’t long after Mike met Marlene that he realized he’d met his match. The girl he wanted to marry. His plus one. The one. Flash forward to their wedding day…The happy couple were surrounded by the people they love, their wonderful family and all their friends. I was honoured to have been chosen to photograph their special day and I wish Mike and Marlene the absolute best! Here are some of my faves.
Mike and Marlene are a super fun couple who are actually getting married this weekend! For their engagement shoot, we tossed around a few ideas but it was Marlene who came up with the brilliant idea to go for a hike up in the Gats. Man with the fiddle and black flies aside, it was the cutest cabin I’ve ever seen! We soon forgot the dark clouds and forecast of showers and moved on to another location for a bit of a picnic. That is, until we started thinking about food and was tempted by chip wagon fries (yes with malt vinegar and ketchup…mmmm). I had fun with these two and I can’t wait to see them on their big day.
